IS SHE A CHRISTIAN, THEN PRAY AND ALSO SEEK COUNSEL FROM YOUR FATHER IN THE LORD, I MEAN YOUR PASTOR. ALSO MAKE ENQUIRY OF OTHER PEOPLE WORKING IN THAT COMPANY WHO ARE GUESTS IN THAT LAND AND NON MOSLEMS. SOKOTO FOR SOMETIME HAS BEEN RELATIVELY PEACEFUL. ANYWAY THE EARTH IS LORD'S AND THE FULLNESS THEREOF, THE WORLD AND ALL THOSE THAT DWELL THERE IN. PS24V1

Sokoto, I lived there as a kid, I don't know about the state security now. Sokoto is more peaceful than the other state in the north, your friend should accept the offer.

Sokoto is safe, that's where I did my University even thu I wldnt want to stay there because of the weather. But belief me, it's a good place to live once you have a good source of income.

Re: Can You Work In Sokoto..... by PeeDaVinci: 11:54am On Oct 18, 2013
if by peaceful, you mean a state with little violence because the minorities respect the unjust and unfair boundaries given to them by the majority and out of fear, refuse to demand the freedom the majority have -then, i will say, sokoto is peaceful. i.e. it is peaceful but you loose your freedome to talk, associate, move . . . . . out of fear

Tell him to accept the offer, i know sokoto to be a bit peaceful compare to some state. What about those of us in working in and around Kano and the rest?
