Water is good but you can also use a mild soap. Summers Eve, fds etc. Just do not put any soap in there. See your Gynecologist if there's a smell.

Olodo!....it's shows u r not hygienic in nature .of course it's antiseptic, and mild...when a little drops is mixed in bathing water, I bath with it..and wash up with it....I don't use it raw like that......nothing dangerous about it....dettol kills germs and bacteria, if u don't know...and it's advisable by medical practitioners to add a little in bathing water...avnt u seen dettol soap for bathing?

Amelian, i don't think using dettol down there is a good idea. Some pple claim dt only water is needed down there, although, i beg to differ on that! Dettol looks a bit too extreme, though!

It's ridiculous the feminine hygiene products out there. I went to the store to buy tampons one day and after standing there for like 5 minutes I just got so irritated. I just want tampons and there is a whole aisle full of these things. So unnecessary. They package and repackage and women just keep buying them. First you have to decide tampons or pads. You choose tampons. Then scented or unscented. Then heavy, regular or light. Then paper or plastic (May God forgive the person that came up with paper applicators). Then maybe brand and quantity.
