An online media company with its office situated in Ikeja, Lagos is recruiting writers and editors to manage its website. This position is strictly for people who are passionate about writing, editing, news reporting and producing creative content for a news and features website.

Focus Areas: News, Education, Career, Inspiration, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Fiction

Requirements: Applicants must have a very good grasp of English comprehension and grammar and must be able to communicate effectively. They must also be creative, confident and hard working. A good knowledge of online news, education, entertainment, fashion and lifestyle trends in Nigeria would also be beneficial within this role. Candidates who are very familiar with national/international online news platforms and who have some experience with blogging and uploading content on websites have a better chance of being shortlisted.

Candidates should also have a laptop/desktop with access to internet connection. This role is for people who keenly follow online news and spend a considerable amount of time online.

Roles: The job roles include writing feature articles; sourcing and reporting news; copy-editing content; conducting interviews and attending events.

Qualification: NYSC Members from any discipline can apply for this job. Undergraduates, SSCE, Diploma and OND Holders are also welcome to apply as trainees.
