My family all have a light/fair skin complexion and my family have not been in contact with any Indians or Arabs since forever. I can trace my ancestry back to Darood Ismaeel Al Jabarti and none of my forefathers married a non Somali.

The Europeans only succeeded in Somali lands because they had Somali collaborators. Before Somalis started defecting, the Europeans were under constant assault thus only present in coastal areas.
