Hello reader. I am a Biochemistry undergrate with a gud G.P n i m sure i ll graduate with a gud 1. Medicine had been my dream course. Pls, is it advisable 4 me 2 go 4 D.E 2 medicine afta service or i shld go 4 my postgraduate studies? Tanx 4 ur brotherly advice.

How old will you be as at the time of graduation from BCH? If less than 23, please go for Medicine. That is my humble opinion.

If that's where your heart is, pls go for medicine. With your 1st degree you stand a good chance of coming out tops. If you're thinking of doing it in USA, it's even better- very expensive but in the end it's worth it.

My dear, it depends on the particular university you choose. Your answer is only a google away. Don't let the figures discourage you though. Student loans are available and for outstanding students assistantships.

I doubt he can get loan under an F1 Visa (student visa). Loans are mainly accessible by citizens and permanent residents. But he may be able to get scolarship with a lot of hardwork.

Op, why don't you try some other countries? Caribeans, Europe et al?

Hello all, I am a Microbiologist with CGPA of 3.03/5.Its being my desire be in medical field but due to delay in admission I had to go for microbiology.plz I need ur advice n contribution. which Nigeria university accepts a 2:2 for D.E into medicine. Or should I go for my master in medical microbiology/parasitology? if I go for the later ,will I be allowed to practice in Medical labs n will I become a member of med.lab professional body.( AMLCN.).immediately after my service by october i wish to start off .PLZ I need ur reply n advice urgently .Thank you very much.

UNN is still kind to people with 2.2 going in for medicine. I advice you go for medicine as the option of medical laboratory science is not attainable.
