Evergreen Nigerian Songs by Extom(m): 8:05pm On Oct 22, 2013
I don't know if I'm the only one in this kinda situation, but there are some old Naija songs I'll listen to, and it still gives me the bumps, and if I close my eyes while listening through my earpods, I still get that refreshing feeling of the good ol' days, when I was still so young that if mumsi pissed me off, I'll head straight to the children's room, lock myself up, hide my head under the pillow and listen to either my 'Palito', or my 'walkman'. smiley everything was so Indigenous, natural and pure.
On top of the list of my old skool naija songs is
PAUL PLAY's Forever. Damn!!! That song is my 'white line'.
TUFACE's African Queen. I listened to this song a couple of days ago, and I was shocked at the amount of hold it still has on me. Classic.
STYLPLUS's Stay Alive. This song literally made me shed tears back then...
Maybe its my addiction to music, but I'm most vulnerable when I'm listening to evergreen songs, because I do it with my ear buds plugged in, and my eyes closed.
I swear the feeling I get from good music is priceless!!!
I'll update more when I remember... Bye for now.

Lol. I was actually born in summer of 2012.
I posted songs that are able to still get to me no matter how long its been, and I don't see how that is a problem. I have the kinda songs I like, and its not up to you 2 question that. Everybody has their different taste, and if yours is the beatles, I would respect that. So pls let's not make a scene.

Lolz. Am stl quite young, not 2 far 4rm 30 though, but I happen to just lyk old skool songs. And I guess I was influenced by my parents who played most of d tunes back then, though I was very little den, but d tunes left a visible impact in me, and I was lyk one day when I grow up, I will collect all the tunes 2geda. Listening 2 them turns me up, it makes feel rilly gud. Those songs have got a g8t deal of meaning, d compositions and instrumentations are very natural and are quite classic and consistent, not lyk most of the songs sung this days which lack all these sterling qualities. I just get damn crazy listening 2 such songs, and one of my most treasured hobby I̶̲̥̅̊s̶̲̥̅̊ collecting old school songs and kipn dem in my archives.
