Budget presentation to the national assembly is a just a fun fair as it has just being revealed that the controversial BMW purchased by NCAA was initially struck out of the ministry's budget by the lower chamber but the minister still went ahead to purchased this vehicles, as I have always being saying that Nigeria has no template, what happened on this issue is an act of undermining the law of the land, so we Nigerians can see where our problems is, a budget is the pivot where development of a nation revolves so if derailed then such a nation is heading to the bimuda triangle as the case of Nigeria is now. In an organized society(country) what happened here is a serious offense that will attract jail terms, in countries in the Asian block it will attract a capital punishment as they have zero tolerance for corruption. I do not understand why people tend to tribalize national issues. This woman, regardless of where she comes from, has stole or misappropriated public funds and should be criticized heavily. I feel it's childish and should stop. |
