I have been using Oceanic Bank turned Ecobank for about 6 years now and have been using their ATM card since then. They charged 100 Naira monthly for ATM maintenance fee, until recently when CBN stopped all banks from charging monthly fees on ATM cards. I knew they will surely find a way to extort us soon and here it comes. So on Sunday Morning, i got an sms alert from my bank that 205 Naira was deducted from my account for Verve Card Enhancement Fee. I was amazed and frustrated at the same time cos i have never been charged for such for the past years i have been using ATM card, my biggest anger is how much they will accumulate at the end of the day charging such amount on every customer. Nigerian Banking sector is turning to something else, extorting customers of their hard earned money with useless reasons is what FG and CBN need to look into. My 205 Naira still dey pain me  |
