Michelle Obama should not be considered to have the same or, even worse, a higher level of fashion authority than Kim Kardashian.
Michelle could be considered a person of decent character (which is quite irrelevant to the topic at hand) but her lousy style sense malfunctions should not be exalted or forced down anyone's throat.
