To those travelling from ibadan u can get a direct bus to jos from total filling station @ ojoo; first bus departs around 6am and d second one around 8am and d fare is #5050.You can also go with ABC Transport @ nigerian brewries junction new ife road,departure time there is 8am nd d tfare is #6200.A driver also said one would get down @ maraba janman(in jos) to take another bus to mangu in which d trip will take up to an hour. |

I don't lnow if I'm still eligible to give advice concerning the plateau cos I redeployed. Fbased on personal reasons. I want to say congrats to batch C cos u guys will be d first set of corpers to open the mangu permanent orientation camp. Advice: take enuf money. For ur upkeep and if u are skeptical about what u eat (kitchen food no be am) take extra cash again. 15-20k will do. Jos is a cold place get urself a jacket. The ppl are friendly. The place is cool. Congratulations to the latest otondos. plateau is a nice place to be and the people are friendly. the state govt do not pay a dime but ur ppa and the local government may pays u depending on ur local government. life here is relatively cheap except in jos. There is harmattan here now so pls go to the camp with ur cardigan. |

Na wa o. Jos is not bad at all. Or boss u don't want pple 2 come and enjoy dia? Actually I'm supposed 2 be serving wit u pple bt ASUU dulled coupled wit den jos crisis. Bt I'm in my final year last semesta now. Jos is very good and if eva in ur lifetym u didn't go 2 jos,u dull mehn. Tins are cheap,accommodatn,gals dat love boys and vice versa, evrytin. Jos is good o n worth visitin. Even we wey dey final year ehn,as if make we wrk servc go dia back. |

I was on camp yesterday. Abt 50 were already around then. Pls take enough money with u cos its a journey of averagely 2hrs to Jos frm Mangu. It's a new place so not 100% ready but far better than d temporary camp at Bukuru. Come with super sweaters! it's very cold out here for a first time visitor. |

I think u guys posted to plateau are lucky kinda, it all depends on how u fix yourself. The permanent camp at mangu was newly built and u guys are lucky to be the first users. Everything thing there is brand new. The camp has also got sport facilities like basketball court and so on. The camp is actually located at a village few distance from mangu town. The only bank in mangu town is first bank, and two union bank branches located at two smaller towns in mangu Lga. So just cool down guys, i believe u will enjoy your stay in the camp. I must add though, this is november and the harmatan is fast showing up, so make sure you come with jackets Cos cold in plateau normally starts about now. Finally, dont mind all the negative reports(mostly exagerated) that you've been hearing about plateau. The crisis have come and gone. Plateau is a mini nigeria, just like lagos, every nigerian tribe is represented fully. So just cool down, i'm quite sure u would enjoy ur camping atleast. |
