Has he ever talked before, whether criticized or praised? So what exactly do you want to hear from him? That Oduah is guilty and should go? Or that she's innocent and should stay until proven guilty? Well, in the past we've had loquacious presidents so we're just deformed by past experience.

We want our president to:
1. Have a clear stand on any issue. We can't be second-guessing him all the time (can tell where he stand on StellaGate?)
2. We need our president to abhor corruption - act it, speak against it at all times.
3. He should stop using proxies. Since Jonathan became President, all the major information we have first started as a rumour. Once it gains acceptance - he is for it. Else they will deny it. Now whenever a news breaks, you will hear people saying "lets wait and see".
4. In case he does not know yet, it is time for Mr President to start punishing corrupt politicians. The current hanky-panky behaviour is only encouraging others.

If President Jonathan cannot step-up and protect the lavish stealing and wasting of our collective resources from corrupt politicians, then it is worthless having him as a leader. It also tend to validate the insinuation that he is benefiting from it.

And let it sink in your skull that President Jonathan is the leader of Nigeria - even if you live near the Sahara, Togo, Atlantic or boarder the Cameroonians - If it is unacceptable to you, then you do not even have a say on issues that concerns Nigerians.
