Of course we knew one another then.
From the Father we learned line upon line.
I came here first, but you promised to be mine.
A covenant made and not to be Forgotten.

A veil was dropped. It clouded our vision.
But these two souls knew our love could not be hidden.
We searched the world till finally a Sign.
Through the distance fate would refine.
Memories flowed Unforbidden.
Once again to be my valentine.
Full of love and adoration.
No hesitation


Reflections And Rainbows

Your laughter rings in my ears. The sweet sound echoes through my mind, capturing the memories we made.

Your sweet words remain in my heart, refusing to leave, ignoring my pleas, evading the supposed infraction.

The sight of your smile was the sun in my sky. Clouds cover what once was mine. Yet regret won't let the light fade.

Shadows cover the joy I once felt at the sound of your voice. No longer will I know this bliss, or have that satisfaction.

Memories of you will forever haunt my soul. Thoughts of what might have been. Hopes chased into the dark night.

A future once as bright as the glow you used to put on my face, is now marked by doubt and deception.

That feeling I once knew. That flutter you once caused. I can't escape it. Try as I might.

Gently touching velvet faces,
And floating on the breeze.
Joy that is seldom found

Beast Within

It roams freely
Scratching at the back of my eyeballs
Slithering like the snake that it is
Oozing in and out of my brain

I have been kidnapped
Held captive by this vile creature
There is nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
I'm stuck here with it inside

Sharp talons scrape across my skull
It's like nails on a chalkboard
It's in my head
I can't escape it
I cover my ears and scream

A moment of respite
And it's back again
My head is pounding
My heart is racing
My agitation is increasing

This thing in my head
It won't go away
I can't sleep
It owns my soul
It stalks my consciousness.

It is relentless
As it stomps around
Loudly proclaiming
That it has a right to remain
It's a wonder I'm still sane.


Prayer for 'E'

Bless him with thy comfort and grace

Bless his path O Lord
Keep his eye on thy glory

Unbridled loquacity

It's all too often in a quandary.
This sometimes hinders any boundary.
You never know what might be said.

Autonomy unabated
One only need look at my history
There is occasional lucidity.
It's those other times I get exacerbated.

I've tried silence instead
It's a fact, truly
But somehow I can't stop the delivery.
Sadly, my brain, by my mouth is lead.
