United States and the United Kingdom have refused to dabble in the N255m bulletproof cars scandal rocking the aviation sector.
The two countries said they would not comment on it because it was a domestic issue of Nigeria.
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority reportedly bought the two bulletproof cars for the Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah.
This has drawn widespread criticisms across the country.
But the two superpowers (US and UK), who have been in the forefront of fighting corruption in governance, refused to comment on the saga.
Inquiry made to the UK High Commission showed that the country was not willing to involve itself in the issue.
“There is no UK angle to the questions you are asking. We cannot make any comment about it”, the Communication Manager (Press & Public Affairs Unit) of the British Deputy High Commission, Mr. Wale Adebajo said in a statement.
The US view was not any different.
The Information Officer, US Embassy, Abuja, Rhonda Ferguson-Augustus, said her country had nothing to say about the alleged scam.
In her response she said, “Thank you for your inquiry; The U.S. Government does not comment on internal Nigerian affairs”.
Oduah on Thursday denied that the NCAA bought the two bulletproof cars for her use.
She stated that the agency bought the cars for its own operations in line with the rising profile of Nigeria as an ICAO member.

I honestly don't know my brother. It is disgusting and shameful at the same time. Why should UK and USA comment on an internal affair? I thought Nigeria is a sovereign nation? or did we not get our independence from England back in 1960? God abeg o!

Funny we are more richer, blessed both human and Natural resource and yet we can't do anything with out US and UK consent. While we are here looking for US and UK blessings Ghana and other countries are doin great tins dere own way. Yet dey import us to dere country n use us as 21st century slaves, and yet we still worship dem.

Thank you. No doubt the usual Punch, premium times, osun defender group of journalists, trying to settle a political problem through blackmail journalism. They don't know that these countries know the truth. Oduah is innocent.

Thats to solidify the fact that this pple's are very desperate in their bid to force the woman out, up to the point of seeking support frm foreign powers to nail the woman at all cost.

This shows that they have a great interest to protect which oduah is dismatling (bi-cotnay and co). All those 'oluwole' boys runing this country down, their time wil be up soonest.

Oduah carry go, norring do u. God dey with u jare.
