Abeg the project was put on hold yesterday, boys claiming to be the 'ogbo n' eche agu' (a version of the omo onile) came and stopped us work, threathening to seize all our tools and materials if we ever work again. They are demanding for N200,000 as settlement before we continue.

It is so sad this is happening to us here in Nigeria, where people take it upon themselves to halt the pace of national housing development because they feel they should. The law does not protect us, my newest project in PH was also halted by Obio Akpor youths today and they have not made any demand, where is the government in all these? No protection from the law!

I dont want to get annoyed, we are recharging to continue, I am still in talks for them to collect only N50k and allow us start work.

So sad.

Most of these Omoniles are jealous/jobless people that are looking to make easy money. Since our govt can't do nothing about them we just have to negotiate and settle with them to avoid their wahala.
