A few weeks ago, May D‘s publicists released a statement claiming the pop artiste (real name Akinmayokun Awodumila) had acquired and moved into his ‘new 6-bedroom duplex’ located in the Magodo area of Lagos. Many questioned the authenticity of the information.

NET investigations reveal that the even though the Pop singer has indeed moved into his first apartment, he has NOT acquired the property. May D recently rented the apartment, his neighbours tell us.

The beige and cream-coloured house located at 4b Adeleke Adekan Close, off Idowu Adewakun Street is part of a twin duplex constructed together – we are told the owners of the property rented it out recently to May D after the former occupants moved out. The first part of the twin duplex has also be rented out to a family.
