In a glittering event that was held in Crocus city hall in Moscow, Russia, Maria Gabriela Isler from Venezuela beat 84 other delegates to emerge Miss Universe 2013. She was crowned by Olivia Culpo Miss Universe 2012 at the end of the event. This is Venezuela's 7th Miss Universe title.The 1st runner up was Miss Spain, 2nd runner up was Miss Ecuador, 3rd Runner up was Miss Philippines and the 4th Runner up was Miss Brazil. Stephanie Okwu represented Nigeria in the contest but didn't place in the Top 16.
