A mysterious python, with a protruded stomach, has triggered pandemonium in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The python, measuring over 22ft, was suspected to have swallowed a human being.
The ‘lest we should be the last’ rush to the scene of the discovery of the python was responsible for the stampede recorded as spectators fell over one another in the process.
Hundreds of the residents of the ancient town, who made it to the popular Kwale Junction in the locality to catch a glimpse of the dead python, were shocked to the bones on sighting the dead animal.
So the Snake’s stomach was cut open to found out what made the stomach so big, and only then was it discovered that the Snake has swallowed an average looking cow.
