Given that a Buhari ticket will not lead to victory at the polls for the APC and also that the CPC elements have of recent complained about being sidelined within the party with respect to executive positions within the APC, coupled with the fact that the APC is obsessed with wooing certain northern PDP governors, one can safely assume that the presidential ticket will not go to Buhari.

This will lead to fracturing of internal fault lines within the party prior to going to the polls which will see most CPC supporters not voting for the APC adopted nominee.

The aftermath will be a comfortable victory for GEJ come 2015.

Off course, this victory is expected to be greeted by some level of violence within the usual flash points such as Kaduna, Jos, Bauchi, Minna and parts of Kano but unlike in the past the irate northern muslim mob will not be targeting their usual victims.

If anything, the violence will not be secular in nature but more ethnic.

The mob will single out a particular ethnic group which they will assume deceived and betrayed them within the APC.

Reprisal attacks in the south will be countered and Hausa/Fulanis within the APC controlled regions will run rampage.

GEJ will intervene and declare Kwara, Oyo and Osun under state of emergency.

APC by this time will be history.

So the fleeing internally displaced refugees from the north will be greeted by another round of violence at home at the hands of those they are fleeing from. States like Ondo, Ekiti, Ogun and Lagos will witness a surge of refugees. Even Benin Republic will witness an influx of Nigerian Refugees.

Afenifere will decry the slaughter and the inability of the FG to protect lives and properties of Odua people in both the North and SW. The militant OPC group will engage in street battles with Hausa/Fulani settlers with gory images of decapitations and public executions of Hausa/Fulanis which will be circulated worldwide on the Net. The FG will be forced to clam down hard on this group. A splinter group of the OPC operating in and around the border with Benin Republic will target government troops and police and start a mini insurgency that will be funded by the same corrupt ACN chieftains, cross-border armed robbery, abductions, kidnappings, smuggling and drug trafficking. This splinter group with a highly criminal hierarchy will try to legitimize it's struggle by advocating for the secession of Odua Republic.
