She better don't. Are we old fashioned couples? What happened to other pet names? My kids will call me daddy and she too will call me daddy. Is she in a competition with them? |

There is nothing wrong with that slogan.. That you over heard your friend's conversation doesn't necessarily mean she always call her husband daddy. You should learn to mind your business.. Some call their husbands DADDY and they are happy.. Some use all the sweet names attached with fruits and non-living things, yet na so so slaps and bruce Li kicks dem dey recieve at every slight provocation. Live & Lets live.. "Atimes", I call her Mama-T, sometimes she calls me PAPA.. I find it romantic How you see it doesn't count.. Btw "Daddy Wa" only shows the man is now a father and a husband... I don't need anyone to boast my ego but based on my knowledge of that word, I see it as a reminder of a man's sole responsiblility in the house... Except y'all want to decieve yourselves based on your Nollywood understanding.. A family is much more than "sweetie, honey, pie, etc" A time would come when people would change your spouse's name to Daddy ***** at that point, even your honey, sugar, Ice-Cream would be forced to blend... I have heard so many igbo people call their husband 'nna m' or 'nna a', nothing wrong with it though I don't like it...the English translation doesn't sound so good that's y everybody's saying bla bla bla bla whereas many of them call their husbnds by that in igbo or other dialects... D most impt thing is the couple involved, if they're ok with it, who gives a 4k abt wht ppl think?? |
