Una wan make Mikel kill im self for friendly match?
am a chelsea fan bro. i ve been watching the dude play for a while now. I see him as an average player. A midfielder is the heart of a team. He is the cordinator and centre of gravity, everything is supposed to centre round him. If you notice, chelsea's games are usually either forward or backwwards, you hardly find the ball in the midfield for long, except of course if its with their opponents. Maybe i expect more from him.

Benjamin Francis was a revelation today. For the first time in years I was comfortable with our left back. He was great going front and back.
Cerci caused him problems but Cerci is a top player.

thegoodjoehunt: The funny part is Mikel is underrated. Today he was up against a world class midfield. The best in the world can't cope easily against the Italians in midfield. There are technical roles that can't be filled with work rate and pace.
Did not watch today's match. Just rating his club performance.

Wen mikel leaves dat team is wen u same nitwits wud come here lamenting his absence, ungrateful beings!

Retired Brazilian JUNINHO (former Lyon player ) and
ANDREA PIRLO are the greatest free kickers that have
ever exist on this planet...I have never seen any free
kickers that can match this two legends........
Beckham and Ronaldinho are just under this two
legends of free kickers..... Back on super eagle, I
think keshi is still rotating those players in order to
pick the best., but oduamadi and brown ideye are
mediocre

ONAZI and PIRLO were man of the match

1. if Mikel is not playing well for whatever reason he should substituted straight!

2. Keshi must stop playing a midfield 2. We have enough midfielders to play 3 all the time

3. Onazi was world clas today eventhough he played last week Saturday, he is MOTM for Nigeria

That boy is trash.

Coach Keshi is getting Musa to play the Striking role, while Emenike, Ideye, Shola Ameobi bring the ball down from long balls.

Musa is learning now. It is very frustrating but he will click.

AyodejiCharles: Onazi off course... he played like an hungry under 17 player ...well maybe that's why he started from the junior ranks... Hunger for Success is always a common factor in our junior ranks which ultimately results to Our winning these junior tournaments.
...even Nsofor and Omeruo performances on the field of play proofs this theory right!

Onazi was culpable in the build up to that giancherini equalizer, i wouldn't give him the man of the match.

Mikel's growth has been hampered at Chelsea because of Lampard. Players are of different talents. Mikel flourished at the U20 ahead of Silva, Messi, Fabregas etc becaused he was utilised in a way to flourish.

The team needs to be built around him and all the players work hard for him to shine.

As long as he keeps getting ball he will shine. We will get there. As soon as Lampard leaves, Chelsea fans will get to appreciate Mikel.

In a midfield 2 Mikel will have responsibilities to protect the back 4

But in a midfield 3 he can be the free man in a free role in the midfield

this midfield 2 almost destroyed us against Ethiopia and keshi is still doing it

we need to go back to what won us afcon and that's 4-3-3

but with oduamadi and victor moses playing along side 2 strikers we tend to have a 4-4-2 that seems like 4-2-4

leaves our midfield very porous

For wetin nah?:

Am yelling you..the Idiat just couldn't hide his bias, awarding the Italians free kicks every 30 seconds, rubbish!

But after that mikel outburst when mikel bounced the ball in anger, and was yellow carded, and Emenike ''gingered'' the refree a bit, the guy started being fair to us.

Mikel had a good a game, IMHO. He kept things simple and tidy. It was Onazi trying to over do things that cost us the equalizer, and it was Onazi trying to redeem himself for causing the equalizer that made him selfish, and made him hold the ball for too long, trying to dribble italians and get the winning goal, when he should be trying to pick out a nigerian player in the italian eighteen yard box, he wasted a deadly counter that would have won us the game, if he wasn't trying to cover himself in glory, perhaps we could be celebrating by now.

Be honest, you did not watch Benjamin today. He was amazing and helped out the defence.

I just checked goal.com, see what was written about Benjamin Francis.

Francis Benjamin
Rampaged down the left to great effect in the first half for the Super Eagles and provided the assist for Ameobi's brilliant volley. Faded after the break.

Thats cos the aim of the game is to play to put the ball in the net , if the aim were to dribble sideways and score at the throw-in line(as okocha must have initially assumed) then your comment would be spot on.

russianmob27: Onazi is a midfield genius but made some wrong choices today but he is the man of the match though....All these kids saying "take u-17 players to the national team" are just saying rubbish, this is world class football that needs experienced players, do you think u-17 players we have would not have fear when facing well know players like Pirlo, Balotelli, montolivo...Keshi is trying, He knows why Ideye and Musa is still in the team, Ideye is a good finisher ( I follow ukrainian league and watch almost all their matches, Musa is also in form at CSKA, the russians here love Ideye and Musa) but in SE Ideye is just trash, I still prefer Likes of Martins and Aluko to the guy though....UP NIGERIA!!!!

Why are people always hating on this Musa boy, NL craziness still dey una body, the guy has pace, he's always going forward, he doesnt have the best cross but he's a threat-always full of energy, I've never seen him doing 'guarding' like our Champion in midfield who thinks hes really strong

Moses really needs to track back, the dude basically left stuck to the bench side- dont know who played left back but lipsrsealed

Good turn out

Maybe u will be the replacement AMAKON
bastien: Onazi of course!!!!

See guys I gat something to say, there Is one player in the team that need to be show the exist door if only he will change his way,at this moment pride shouldn't come in,Ameobi, ambrose and Eyeama should for me be the ones doing the pride stuff and not Mikel,is he bcus he has won champions league n others, that doesn't count,Kanu won many and yet didn't play with pride, how about Pirlo or Xavi, this are complete midfielders, that when ever they are called, they Answer with honour and dignity to there country, and serve them well,we all saw what Pirlo did today, how he changed the game etc,Mikel doesn't seems like he wanna be in that squad,he romance the ball to much, and shading players like he is d strongest,(mean why, when he is in chelsea he doesn't do that,he play with the team and more offensive) after today match,Vincent Enyeama went to him,and give him world of advice!

Think,so one (elder) should talk to him!

Sorry if ma english bend

because he was psychologically traumatized by Nigerian fans with lot of boos! To the extent that his team members were scared of giving him passes grin grin
