Private law schools should be allowed in Nigeria. A degree in a separate discipline than Law should be the minimum entry requirement. Admission into the Nigerian Bar shall be based upon passing the Bar Exam to be conducted by the Council of Legal Education. The Council of legal Education will no longer be burdened by the responsibility of running a law school but will concentrate on recommending candidates that pass the Bar Exam to be admitted by the Body of Benchers.
