lol.
You think the world bank will sponsor a nuclear research programme by african universities?
Delusion.
The Nigerian govt would have to fund them.

x-razzy:
Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (Centre of Excellence on Neglected

Tropical Diseases and Forensic Biotechnology);

Hmmm! Professor Andrew Nok's line of research is a factor here
Has he finally won that german humbodlt award for research in science which he was nominated for sometime ago?
That erudite ABU scholar is probably africa's best chance for a first nobel prize in science.

Congratulations to the winning Universities, 7 from Nigeria, that is great. I pray that the fund is judiciously used and other universities focus on researches that will reduce human's problems.

Chillypelly: If you don't have my own FUTO on the list then its a clear scam. I don't see why an International Centre for Nuclear Research can't drawn funds for such important research.

Hahahahahaha...International Centre for Nuclear Reaearch.

Instead of futo to bring themselves low and major their researches on malaria or sumtin smaller, they decided to go nuclear..maybe the name sounds sweet.lol

Futo doesnt have the intellectuals, equipment and technical know-how for such research.

This is a plain case of hanging ur clothes way above ur hands.

Futo better eat the humble pie and abandon that research and major on sumtin related to their environment, for EG create a Centre for the Study of Prostitution in Owerri..
