The Rivers State Carnival attempted a Guinness World Record mark when its logo was used as a unison profile picture on all social networks as well as mobile chatting platforms. The world saw the social media going Green in synchronism with the carniriv 2013 logo which depicts the theme: “GREEN WORLD EDITION”. A theme meant to reflect the need to preserve our environment by taking healthier steps and inculcating an environtal friendly attitudes in our daily living. The attempt saw thousands of people using the Carniriv 2013 logo graced in a green field background as their profile picture for the whole day. Screen shots data accounts for over 283,000 accounts used. However, official statistics are still being awaited to come from the Guinness World Record Office. Rivers State gradually places herself as Nigeria Tourism destination of Choice.
