1 in 4 children witness violence against their mother in their homes. Research has shown that domestic violence is the leading contributor of death, disability and illness of women under 45. Who knows that Anty's death might have been caused by her husband physical assault!


How does your boyfriend/fiance treats you?. If he is violent, never marry him with the hope that he would change. Now, that you're still intact, is the best time to remove that high heel shoe and run as fast as you can from him because risk of violence remain strong in a relationship which has been a feature in the past.


"Violence against women" is any act that results in, or is likely to result in physical, sexual or mental harm or suffering to women including threats of such acts. Examples are rape, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) popularly called female circumcision, forced marriage, acid attack, forced abortion etc. Bros, have you forgotten how you had carnal knowledge of that young lady against her wish? I n a saner society you should be confined to a 4-wall room.

Physical/psychological violence is never seen as acceptable and today, November 25th being International day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, I totally condemn it!

If you're a perpetrator, the law will catch up with you oneday. But remember 'what goes around comes around'!
