honestly, i can imagine the stigma most third class graduates face on daily basis. the guy that came with me for an interview today was walked out of the hall simply because he"s a third class holder. all eyes was just on him. we just dont have a working system. emphasis is layed more on GRADES Before competence. well, its not the end of life! just try and upgrade yourself. or find a business to do. coz truth is, no organization in nigeria apart from Government jobs will employ you with such grade. except by the extreem Grace of God. and via connection hence the minimum qualification is 2:2 i feel so much for you guys ! God help us all

I made a third class in school and I knew there was no way I would start looking for work. After my one and only job that I carried over from NYSC, I focused on self employment. Now I run a travel consulting firm and no one sends what I graduated with.

Your success lies in God's hand not in your grades. Ask Him to make you what He has destined you to be. The race is not to the swift and the battle is not to the strong, nor favour to men of skills. God is the lifter of your head. Trust Him

My advice is this : build your capacity, train and get more intellectual skills. There are lots of professionals courses like MBA. A certificate does not determine your worth. Let me give u an example, Uniben came up with a mandatory ICT training some years back, although most of us then hardly attended the training, we came out with A+ in our certificate, without the knowledge. This year alone, I have trained myself in stuffs like webdesign, data mgt and a hell lot of stuffs and I make money from them, I didn't need a certificate for that. !!! . So bros, build up your capacity and ability

Even in Nigeria it is possible to graduate with a low-grade and be a successful CEO.
Your grades in school only limit your potential in the organized labour market.
A friend who was on the same course as me in University is the kind of guy most would call BOSS.
Even from our Jambite days he was already dreaming and talking big.
He invested and devoured inspirational literature like Forbes, Fortune and sundry others like it was life to him
He had already started business: printing, clothes and other things by our 2nd year.
By third year bought a decent car and was really balling.
Hardly ever in school it was no surprise he made a 3rd.
He has a decent IQ i must confess but organized education choked him.
I must say he's done so much more than any of our mates, myself inclusive (I work in the oil industry).
What you need is that hunger, desire, passion if you will to succeed.
Many get overwhelmed by grades. Grades may put food on your table but most times the guy that owns the farm is hardly read.
Get inspired. Believe and all things are possible.

Degree or no degree. Most important thing... you are educated which means you should have an intelligence edge over an illiterate (thats the general assumption) and if you dont... your own have meet you be that.
However... your degree does not determine how far you go in life. Check out the most successful people, some not all are not making money with what they studied in school. The idea is the could think out of the box.
From your post, i believe you are scared of the future, turn that fear into determination. Think of something you can do, fine capital in nigeria could be a big ish, but starting small isint a bad thing.....
May God help you in your quest to success and may He not forget others who need help as well.
Dont mind my typos... i hope i got my msg across. wink

Third Class is pretty much useless and you can hardly use that degree for anything worthwhile. Try as much as possible to avoid it even it means having an extra year.
