It is very good to see this post. It a huge sign Jonathanians and his team are really working in terms of maneuvering tactics to be employed to beat the dreaded APC come 2015.
One of the idea I had was this news, the FG should get the masses to register their thumb prints, images and identity by a process they can't afford to ignore. Take the data gotten from populace and upgrade it on electoral votes in favour of GEJ. Do it a systematically and clinical way and leave APC to cry foul for the rest of their lives. That's voting electronically. By this time INEC must have public statement to support e-voting.

Sincere 9gerian: Nigeria go better. All that is needed is for people from the axis of EVIL -APC e-warriors, Tinubu, Buhari and Boko Haram- to give this president some breathing space.

Is there anytime ur useless leader have not come up with good idea? Putting it the action and letting the good idea behind it to play out is whee the problem has always manifest

Keep supporting actions that will bring anarchy....

Even if you don't live in Nigeria...you have families that do...and you are hereby indirectly wishing them anarchy.

This will save Nigeria, eventually the Government will be able to reclaim all of the money of terrorists, criminals and corrupt people without even tracking them down. Once everyone has an ID ATM card, we can get rid of cash and people will have to do things properly.

Tibins: I think GEJ meant well for Nigeria. Just that virtually every sector of our economy is infested deadly interests so any move to correct the wrong is resisted. Though not directly, so as not to be suspected, but with great deceit cloaked in sweet words and polished with silver and gold; as though they are fighting for the people. Same Nigerians they are oppressing, cheating lord over as slaves.
My take is that, even if GEJ may not be perfect, he has within 2 1/2years, in the midst of all the troubles and regional interests, sabotage and disrespect, proved strong. Let's give him a chance to complete his transformation programme.

This country has seen leaders in the past who shout, issue threats and talk often, even if not so grounded in information. So we use that as yardstick to assess successive leaders. Therefore, anyone who talk less, or wouldn't shout and comment on issues, deliberately though is seen as weak.
Fellow countrymen, let's please learn to respect, give leaders chance to perform irrespective of our believe and religious divides. For me, even if it's a northerner or westerner in power we'll give same regard. If this GEJ's time please let's give him a chance.
Leaders are choosen by God, He gives it to whoever He pleases. Perhaps GEJ is who Nigeria needs to usher us into a new era. It doesn't matter where he may come from. Let's embrace his programmes and work with him, support him to succeed. If he succeeds, Nigeria would have taken a step further. God bless Nigeria.
Your advice, as good as it is, is meant for normal human beings. Unfortunately, many of the creatures on this forum are brainless lower animals and such advice is MEANINGLESS to them.

take dat: This is a country where N75billion was allocated for data capturing machines for voters registration, even after spending such an humongous amount and biometric data collection we still find ourselves in situations where names suddenly disappear from the voters register simply because some government officials are in the habit of tampering with it. How are we sure our thieving government officials won't manipulate our data/information to commit fraud? When bankers who are expected to abide by strict ethics connive with fraudsters to commit ATM fraud, why should I then trust our dishonest and ever-swelling cult of thieves in government?

Nigerians were promised 24/7 power supply since 2001. After a whooping $16b have been "paid into private pockets" , what do we have??.... DARKNESS!!
If you pay more for the darkness in your room, is it not better if you are without the so-called light??

$500m earmarked for national ID Card cannot be accounted for till today, yet we were compulsorily made to register for it. How many Nigerians got that National ID Card today? Yet no one, NO ONE among the THIEFFING RULERS dare ask questions about it...No one got punished...The money entered private pockets...

N750b data machine not utilized till today, did anybody ask questions about their where-about? (N750B!!) Whatever happens to the macchines... Don't be surprised they've all gone back to where they came from... What purpose were they imported for? DATA CAPTURING.
Are we not being made to pay for another data capture through the FRSC/ registration of our vehicles?

Do you expect me/us to believe a government who paid outrageous N1.3trillion for a subsidy tag of N240b or thereabout to thieves within the same year budgetted for, yet cannot jail a single one of them to carry out such a white elephant project without equally paying the money into the account of another set of BIG THIEVES?
They will soon tell us how many TRILLION/TRILLIONses are involved.

We dey watch sha ooo

The ID cards will make it easier to see people coming and goings.

Once the systems are put in place, if we can reduce corruption, there will be more revenue available to fulfil the promises made to citizens.
