Interesting to see that everybody here is either catholic or pentecostal (with the exception of myself and one other anglican). And even the catholics seem to be few and far between

What happened to all the catholic, baptist, methodist and anglican churches that have been around for so long? My Grandma's methodist church and Our Saviours are always full, but these congregations still seem to be such a minority. How come?

No worries. It's almost the same as Catholicism with small differences:
-we celebrate Easter one week after the Catholics;
-Orthodox priests are supposed to get married before entering their career (it is believed that will keep them away from fornication because they get in touch with many people and the temptation would be high) whilst Catholic priests are forbidden to marry;
-during the fasting time, we can't eat anything coming from animals (meat, milk, eggs, cheese - it has milk, and so on) whilst the Catholics only refrain from eating meat.
-we use paintings when praying, Catholics use statues - of Jesus or Mary.
And some other small differences like the ones above.
Yet ( I don't really know why) the Orthodox religion is said to be the most strict among the Christian "branches". Actually, untill 1054 the Orthodox and Catholic Church were one and due to political issues, they then divided
