Time and time once more, ASUU has stone-broke the center of Nigerian Students and oldsters, as news of the strike are going to be referred to as off, and so, we've simply define the series of events that has marked the 2013 ASUU strike action by the academic employees Union of Universities, since first july, when the strike commmence.
July 1, 2013: ASUU began a nationwide strike over alleged Federal Government’s refusal to implement the agreement between it and also the union over unpaid entitlements.
6th of August 2013: during this day, the Nigerian national team led by Benue State Governor, Dr. gabriel Suswam had a failing meeting with ASUU officers at the workplace of the SGF because the lecturers insisted on the implementation of the 2009 ASUU/FGN agreement.

24th of Oct 2013: Senate mandated its leadership to wade into ASUU strike by meeting the federal government and also the ASUU executives
4th of november 2013: Senate President, senator David Mark met with the leadership of ASUU, however no resolution to end strike.
5th of november 2013: President Goodluck jonathan in 13-hour marathon meeting with the leadership of ASUU in conjunction with representatives of the NLC and TUC, insist Strike should end, or FG follows plan B(Force Varsities Open using proprietor Power and replace Defying lecturers).
12th of november 2013: prof. Festus Iyayi, former ASUU President died on his means for ASUU meeting in Kano.
20th of november 2013: Management of Ibrahim Babamasi Babangida University, Lapai, IBBUL resolved to open up the school once ASUU fails to decision off strike.
23rd of november 2013: ASUU NEC members agreed that before calling off its strike government ought to pay the four-month salary arrears being owed varsity lecturers.
26th of november 2013: Management of Ebonyi State University, EBSU, Abakaliki resolved to open up the school once ASUU fails to decision off strike.
26th of november 2013: Management of Adekunle Ajasin University, AAUA, Akungba resolved to open up the school once ASUU fails to decision off strike.
26th of november 2013: Committee of Pro-Chancellors of Federal Universities caught up the immediate re-opening of all shut down Universities across the country.
28th of november 2013: federal government Moves to Implement arrange B, from nov 5 Meeting, offers ASUU demand to call off strike in one week or face expulsion.
