Recently customs came to one of the biggest car dealers in mobolaji bank Anthony way in ikeja. They asked all staff to take their personal vehicles out, and they locked up the shop with over 30 brand new cars seized, from range rover sports to 2014 Mercedes Benz clk 350. Heard the owner parted away with almost 20 million naira before customs reopened the showroom. Those dealers pay customs so they are left alone. Lots of the brand new car dealers in ikeja bring their cars in from cotonou ports in other to cut cost and maximize profit. And due to the ridiculous amount charged for clearing of brand new cars at Lagos port. |
