There are several household items that we seem to use for a non-specific period like pillow, mattress, tooth brush. How often should a tooth brush be replaced?

As often as it loses its value-the bristles are brown and going in every direction and you are ashamed someone may see it grin
Ok, the brush makers say every 3 months and dentists agree.

There shouldn't be a specific time to change toothbrush, It depends on the quality and durability of the toothbrush u re using. Change ur toothbrush as soon as u think it has gone bad, Irrespective of the duration; one week, one month or one year.

I dont change it, till it falls apart - either by breaking when using it, or when the bristles are dropping in my mouth while brushing.
