You probably installed a pirated version. You should check online for a crack for it. Google call of duty 5 crack. It will be a relatively small file. Download and copy to your installation folder. That should get it working.

When I saw the first pix, I was mad at you for not getting a PC with a graphics card as a PC gamer. But I relaxed when I saw the 2Gb Nvidia graphics card in the second pix. The 1920 x 1080 display makes it more mouthwatering.

Nice specs bro. My last gaming laptop was about 2 years back. I built my gaming desktop about 6 months back, and I really enjoy the screen estate it affords me. Playing games like COD and Far Cry 3 on a 24 inch display is just amazing.

Almost done with Far Cry 3. Next on my list is Battlefield 4.


What genres do you enjoy? I prefer FPS and MOABs.

Yea, it packs 2x GT750M Cards working together in SLI Mode -Sacrificing the Optical Drive.
I agree Desktops are ideal for gaming as they could always be re-configured to keep up as the years go by (not to mention that they r also more stable & efficient).
Well, too bad for me... I'm always on the move.
I'm more into games in third person view -Hitman Abs., the Splinter Cell Series, Max Payne, LA Noire ...etc
-began trying out FPS with C.O.D, & now I'm hooked...played BF 2, & looking forward to playing BF 4.
Also spend loads of time modding soccer games -Fifa/Pes & tweaking PC's

I Miss the bigger screen most times, but when I really feel like it -I use HDMI out to tv.

Yea It is, & you don't have to worry about compatibility with games, as its just like using a monitor..
& also HDMI auto-detects the best resolution to transmit to the screen -unlike VGA & RCA cables...

I have a PC with similar spec but mine is on Windows 8 OS. Windows 8 was a mistake. I can't run Halo 2 and my others games I ran in Windows 7

About to build a PC gaming rig

I sold my ps3 and opted for PC gaming cause

1. PC gaming graphics with a beastly graphics card does outshine even the ps4 by miles away

2. Heard ps4 doesn't support DLNA , so WTF ? I just don't have a gaming thirst !!! I want media satisfaction too

3. Price of console games. During my ps3 era, I did buy the games ranging from 8-12k ....let's say in a year,buying up to 10 CDs is nothing less than 100k !!!! Games which I could easily have downloaded for free on PC.


I don't know if the ps4 will be hacked for free games but with PC I can definitely get all cracked games for free.


Already ordered the PC parts from amazon and below are the specs

MSI gtx 780 lighting 3gb DDR5
ASUS maximum gene mother board
1 TB hdd
120 ssd

With these specs I'll be taking on next gen game titles with ultra graphic settings @1080p 60+ FPS

Already downloaded battlefield 4 and call of duty ghosts on my laptop so now I wait

Am a jjc in pc gamin, buh not a newbie in gamin, oga bluttocks oya com and help me, where can I download directx9 or 10, d ones I downloaded at filecrop in rar format, had only one folder after extraction with a few files , there was no instalation file for d directx9, only .cab files.
I just downloaded inversion, and the game req directx9

Same mistake a friend made. Installed Windows 8 on his, and mine game better and faster than his.

Sort d contents of the folder containing the .cab files by type... & scroll thru -u shud see a "DXSETUP.EXE" file. Run it.

Else Search & download it directly from microsoft download center

Better still, if you've got any copy of PES or FIFA just search in the folders "/_installer/ for FIFA.. They come with directx in a separate folder..

I'll upgrade mine next year, my system runs Battlefield 4 comfortably on Ultra though.

If amazon doesn't verify my account in the next 24 hours i will be forced to purchase parts from microcenter which is $250 cheaper.

Entire pc build from amazon is $1130 though but it should satisfy my thirst for the next few years.


between can i get a good desktop case in nigeria?

seen your thread before and i'll say, it was one of the main motivations that factored my move from console to the pc gaming sphere.

I don't live in lagos so using a third party buyer who resides in lagos is gonna increase by budget by about 16%.
main reason i'm giving amazon a 24 hour duration to fix my account is GTB has already forwarded my billing statement to amazon via FAX.it could be resolved within the next 24 hours.ordering the parts from another website could lead to double orders

will be patient for one more day. btw,i look forward to posting pics of the rig when it's built

Ok bros, lemme go and try it, I have pes11 dvd and fifa13 dvd,
I wish I had one of yu gurus as frnd, I would av bought a standard gamin laptop, anihow sha
My fifa 13dvd is still under my bed cos I didnt understand d installation process, been playin pes 11 since, the guy who sold it to me told me to just copy everythin in one folder and run crack, and it refused to work just shows a black screen and goes bac to desktop.
