Hello, I've just found this thread and hoping some professionals advise me.
I got a 2KVA 24V stabilizer with 4, 150mA batteries connected.
First 2-3 days it was working well, till I noticed that the voltage in my house is low and usually ranges btw 160-190V. So my batteries weren't charging, or should I say were charging very slowly, coz the battery would run down after just 1-2 hours after power outage.
Now I called the person who sold it to me to complain and he said I should connect it to a stabilizer to increase the voltage to 220-240V.
Now I think this is where d problem started, when I went to look for a 3KVA stabilizer, I didn't get so I called the same guy to ask if I could use a 2KVA or 5KVA stabilizer, he recommended a 5KVA, which I bought and installed, this has been working well for a about 2 months, then all of a sudden the inverter stopped working, it would make a loud continuous beep, when I checked the manual it showed fault.
The guy that installed the inverter for me is from this same company that I bought it, he came to check it and told me that I had to replace the inverter. Coz it's damaged by some sort of power surge, I don't want to delve into the supposed warranty I'm supposed to have on all the items.
But the technician after checking, later on opened up to me that the problem was from the 5KVA stabilizer that I connected to the inverter.He said it's too big for it and that's the most likely reason for the damage to the inverter.sorry I'm not an electrical engineer so I'm not conversant with the terms, but that's the lay man's understanding.
Now I've had to buy another inverter, removed the stabilizer and connected it directly to the mains, this has brought me back to my initial problem of not charging due to low voltage.
Pls what do i do? It's beginning to frustrate me, I've invested so much yet I don't enjoy it.
A comprehensive lay man's solution would be appreciated.

He saying that ur stabilizer is too big for ur inverter is wrong, try to connect ur inverter & stabilizer to earth next time.

there is a screw for that purpose maybe at the back or bottom of the inverter, same goes for the stabilizer

I got a solar set up from an online mall. It contains an all-in-one 1000 watts 12volts/220volts inverter, a solar panel, 100amp deep cycle battery and a 12 volt 10amps 240 volts AC intelligent battery charger. I have the all set up excluding the 240 volts main 12v intelligent battery charger. My question: Along with the set up, is it safe for any of the components to connect the AC intelligent battery charger to the battery terminals without having it disconnected from the inverter first? I assume that doing this will eliminate the routine of having to disconnect the solar panel first, then the battery from the inverter unit each time I intent to charge the battery directly from AC. Please urgent replies will be much appreciated.

You can connect the ac external charger to ur setup without disconnecting the solar panel as the charger is smart, no damage will be done.

Yeah just open the inverter, takeout the cooling fan, then take it to an electrical parts shop for replacement

There are a few things that can make your inverter not accept the input current.
1. the voltage... check the utility voltage supplied, if it is too low, it might not accept it.
2. the frequency... the desired frequency for an inverter is between 50Hz/60Hz, if its lower or higher it might not accept the AC.

You should be able to get replacement fans from your usual computer parts store. Perhaps get a marching voltage, dimension and power from some old scrapped PC tower; that's if you've already diagnosed the fan as the primary fault.

Since the battery did not charge to fullest, it has short circuit the battery
