I watched about 5 movies recently but Gran Torino stood out. I would rate it above Manchester by the Sea. It is a good movie but just that the old gave up his life.

Ok, but i think you mean 0/10 or what are you talking about? To me Blood Wars is just a movie one will watch for watching sake, because we have watch better and excellent movie than it. But it's not all bad.

They ruined it angry everything just fell flat.
'chigurh' the main antagonist is something else I have never seen in a film, this guy makes killing a daily necessity just like eating food. There's this Tension and fright he brought in when ever he appears on screen. 6/10 if not for the poor ending i would have rated it 9/10.
What do you mean by d poor ending? Tommy Lee Jones' dream?

I mean he is envisioned as very tough guy but the way he is killed was too ordinary.
Chigurh on the other hand continues his killing unabated sad he is is the dangerous criminal Tommy Lee supposed to have track down by everything necessary, but he refuses and went on lamenting how crimes is taking over the town.
And again; He did nothing to help Carla Jean after knowing fully well how precarious her situation is, following death of her husband.
These major plot holes are to wide to ignore. That
I don't think they are plot holes. Basically the movie portrays change as ever constant. TLJ still holds onto old ideals wheras the world has moved ahead. I think Llewelyn dies because he is an old man (with old values). Hence the title. Look at Chigurh as a depiction of chance. He is random. He kills on a spree, but still he himself is a student of chance (the accident towards the end). The other assassin's death also pushes the idea that we have no control. Chigurh says to him "if you the rule you followed brought you here (to this sad end), what use is the rule? Meaning we should not make plans as if we are in control of our lives. Carla Jean's last scene is not like others. She accepts that she would not decide her fate instead she would let it play out itself. I guess that's why we are not shown she dies. Bottomline: live your life with the times. Don't hold so dear to ideals some of them might become obselete.

PS: I wouldn't think Llewelyn was the main protagonist. I think Sheriff Bells (TLJ) was.

Hmm.. I get ya point of understanding, it shows bad people are more advanced than the good ones, hence that's why Tommy Can't do his job because of his old archaic principles... Though I still hold my belief, the movie could have been better, not the slight confusion it has, with most movie enthusiasts trying to explain what it actually entails.
I do really appreciate your own point of explanation it add a little depth to the whole story.

Exactly. If I remember clearly this movie was 2007. Another amazing movie of that year is There Will Be Blood. It is also a "morality film". Have you seen it?

I have no idea what pushed me to view that garbage called "Underworld;blood wars".Luckily for me,i recently discovered a gem of an action movie called "DREDD" not the Sly Stallone version in 1995 but its re-make released in 2012.The movie is amazing;ultra-violence,ultra drug use,colourful characters,no holds bar shoot 'em up mayhem with a thumping soundtrack from start to finish.If you're an action movie fan and you havent seen this movie?!....damn
