And they did not thirst When He led them through the deserts; He caused the waters to flow from the rock for them; He also split the rock, and the waters gushed out. Isaiah 48:21

The desert or wilderness speaks of a dry place, where there is no provision, shelter or supply of water. In the desert everything around seem to be working against every means of survival: the sun is hottest there and the sand blinding. This was where the children of Israel had to pass through before they could get into their land. The first wilderness experience they had faced was when they left the land of captivity in Exodus 17:6 and the next time was when they had to pass through it on their way from exile in Babylon.

Just like the former wilderness deliverance, God was with the children of Israel through their journey. Even though they complained and murmured, He still provided water for them. Beloved, one thing you can be sure of: whatever you are going through, God has promised He will never leave you nor forsake you. Another important thing to note is that once you allow Him lead you through that wilderness experience, He will make water gush out of the rock.

Our focal scripture states that when God led them, they did not thirst. What type of wilderness are you in? Is it in your marriage, career, finances, studies or ministry? Whatever it is, our Daddy will never let you lack for provision. The land and its surroundings might look dry, but just hang on, believing on our beloved Papa God and see His provision in areas you least expected.Be rest assured that you are never alone.

Prayer: Thank You Daddy God for assuring me in Your word, that you are always with me in all circumstances. I receive Your grace to walk in this confidence. Amen.
