methodist university admission is on, courses available; The Faculty of Business Administration established in the year 2002 offer programmes of business studies with five options of specialization namely Accounting, Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing and Management Studies leading to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. The programme is offered to Day and Evening students in Dansoman and to Evening students in Tema. A Weekend Programme was introduced in the academic year 2009/2010. It is offered on Friday evenings and Saturdays. The BBA degree programme is designed to provide a good educational foundation in management for students who on graduation can readily provide specialist skills at the middle management level of business as well as on-profit making organizations, or those who may set up and run their own small business thus applying the entrepreneurial skill acquired. The Faculty also runs a Master’s programme in Business Administration (MBA) in all option except Management Studies. The MBA programme began in the 2007/2008 academic year. The programme is offered at the Course Work and Thesis Options. The Faculty’s Vision Statement The Faculty of Agriculture is to be capable on a sustainable basis to develop skilled manpower responsive to the needs of Ghana’s agricultural sector. The Faculty’s Mission Statement The Faculty of Agriculture is to sustainably facilitate the exploitation of the agricultural potential of the various ecological zones through the development and application of improved technologies to accelerate integrated rural development and reduce poverty in the country. In pursuance of the Faculty’s mission it is necessary to: Develop the Faculty into a centre of excellence in agriculture; The Faculty’s programmes are to take cognizance of national agricultural policies and manpower needs of the country; Undertake vigorous research the by-products of which will yield income to the University; Develop pilot projects out of the Faculty’s research programmes; Undertake value addition to agricultural products for internal income generation. Undertake consultancy services. The Faculty’s Departments are: Agricultural Mechanization & Agro-processing, Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness, Agricultural Extension, Animal Science, Crop Science and Horticulture. The Faculty is offering (1) one year Certificate in Horticulture, Agribusiness and Agro-processing; (2) two year Diploma in Horticulture and two year Diploma in General Agriculture and (4) four year Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture (BSc (General) Agric). Faculty members are engaged in teaching, research and extension activities. The main activities of the Faculty of Agriculture emphasize problem solving, participatory learning approaches geared towards integrated rural development, poverty reduction and its eventual alleviation. Graduands from the Faculty will be technologically proficient, practically oriented managers of commercial farms and agribusiness houses. Upon completion of their courses, the products of the Faculty would be made to think first of self employment or be the first choice of development oriented employers.

The University of London External Programme is designed for students who want to study for a University of London degree but would like to avoid the high expenditure of living in London to pursue the programme. Without traveling abroad for your studies, you can obtain the same University or London degree on the External Programme. The University of London is recognized internationally as a centre of academic excellence. In all parts of the world, its graduates have gone on to occupy influential positions in government, the professions, business and industry. he University of London has a direct, ongoing relationship with each external student. The academic staffs from the University plan the syllabus, develop and write study materials for external students, set the examination papers and mark scripts. External students are assessed to exactly the same standard as that of a student studying in the University of London and you are awarded a University of London degree. The total external fees including bank charges etc. for the programme are approximately between £2,600 and £3,000. This is considerably less expensive taking cognizance of the worldwide recognition of the degree from the University.
