i let my p9 battery drained to 1%, when i got home i connected it straight to my laptop, then i noticed it wasnt coming on or showing any sign of charging. i have charged the phone for over 3hrs now with direct socket. i have tried all the suggestions above related to this problem like the screen of death problems.but bot still powering on. please help

that is jus one big problem wit p9. it was jus rectified with the new g9. i suggest u get a new charger or take itto carlcare.

SOd happens wen u allow ur fone to run out of battery. First time it happened to ma tecno P9..I was devastated, just had to google d issue and solve the prob. Goodluck

I now have a CWM and a back up rom now I can use font do risky things,no more fear of brick.

My next project is to upgrade to v4.4 kitkat by using a custom rom from samsung note2 7inch

I had issues with my p9 about a month ago the screen suddenly went off so I took it to carlcare it spent a month there before I could collect it was fixed yes But ever since it charges slowly and I'm not happy about it earlier today the phone suddenly went white on the screen after a while it went off completely I couldn't switch it on so I went through this thread n I followed the instructions given n wow my phone was back to life now wat can I do about the slow charging n the screen ish to avoid future occurrence thanks in anticipation
