. Sometimes its not a cause of abortion but hormonial imbalance she is adviced to go for a hormonial profile test which a date would be calculated nd given to her for the test to get the right result. If nt treated could lead to childlessness or given birth to multiple children like quadruplet ,six or even eight. Peace fear not do the right thing.

This unusual secretion of breast milk can be caused by excess prolactin. A hormone that causes the production of milk. This can also be a growth in the pitutuary gland that triggers the secretion of prolactin. Stress, reaction to drugs and depression can cause it. Am not a doctor but have read about it. So @op please advise the lady to go for hormone profile test because it can hinder pregnancy (for women who are married) when the prolactin level is very high.

This is a different take from the other answers you must have gotten so far, but you should know that there is an endocrine disease called prolactinoma - a non-cancerous enlargement of the pituitary gland, which leads to symptoms of galactorrhea (milky discharge from the breasts like what your girlfriend is having), painful sexual intercourse, lack of menstruation, decreased sex drive due to decreased hormone production, and decreased (peripheral) vision in severe cases. Ask your girlfriend to go see a doctor for better evaluation of her symptom(s).
