My Idea towards resolutions for a new year is that it should be written before the year in question is welcomed.

bro., people set target for week upcoming, month upcoming, why not year upcoming. you want to aspire to a greater height but one thing or the other made it impossible, a resoluttion helps fight those bottlenecks.
