its difficult to determine original online.. But if uve bought it, u can determine it if its original by testin one urself. For e.g, a 12000 mah should power a BB atleast 10 full circles from 0percnt and it shuld charge a tab atleast 6 full cycles. A BB is below 1000mah while a tab is above 1000mah do de maths by deductin from the PB mah n den u no how many full cycles u are to get if its original.

For your info sir, i did not specify on the type of BB i meant, i may have been talking of a curve mind u. All d same the point i was driving at is, whatever ur fones mah is, u divide is by the capacity of the PB u are using minus power loss due to watever factor to knw the exact hour/days it would last for paying contant attention to the frequency of ur usage.

I am a major supplier of solar powerbank, the easiest way to know the one that will charge your phone over and over again is to know the battery capacity of the pb , its called Mah
also look at your phone battery you will see the battery mah written on it some battery are 2500mah, some 1400mah, divide the mah of your phone with that of the pb that will give you the number of times the pb can charge your phone before it will run down.

The problem is that Nigerians like very cheap things. How can you buy a whole 20,000mah for 4,000naria and expect it to work well?

Op it depends on the mAh of the battery and how often you charge your phone. 5500mAh can charge my phone battery full almost 5 times, if i charge my phone twice a day with the power bank, it lasts for 2days.

ideally! d powerbank capacity ÷ the phone's battery capacity = no of times it can charge ur fone frm 0% to 100%. If u hv a 5600mAH powerbank it cud charge a 1800maH battery for abt 3 times. fake powerbanks are everywhere,hv fallen a victim of fake powerbanks

i av 10000mah power bank. Look at d bak of ur phone batt u av 4 my own now 1000mah. Dt means u av 10 of it.so divid dt into two. Dt means my power bank charge my batt 5times and i use dt 4 six days.....and i bot it 4 8k

@Kobomart A 12000mAh pb able to charge a bb 950mAh battery for 12 times full? This is a common mistake make by most of the people. For rough calculation of the total charge, kindly use this formula: Real Capacity x conversion rate x phone battery health / phonecapacity = total charge times. Example: 12000 x 0.8 x 0.8/950 = 8.08 charge times. In simple, conversion rate is the remaining % of the battery after the battery lost in heat and phone battery health mean how 'healthy' your phone battery is. Phone battery storage capacity will be lower and lower. That's also the reason your phone can last longer when its newly bought than after 3-6 months we used it. Different mobile phone models also affect the calculation as some phone drain battery faster than the other.

Let me use some analogy to explain power banks capacities. Just as u measure liquid in litres, u measure battery capacity in mAh(milli amp hour). So imagine u have a 100litre tank of water & u're fetching from it with a 10litre gallon, ideally it means u can only fetch from it 10 times (i.e 10*10=100). But if u're fetching with a 5 litre gallon, ideally, u can fetch 20 times ( 5*20=100). Now I said "ideally" because we're assuming some little amount did not get lost due to spillage as u're fetching or evaporation from storage, leakage, etc. Then, how long ur 100litre tank of water lasts u depends basically on how often u fetch from it & d quantity u fetch, assuming there are no leakage, spillage, etc.
That said, battery capacities r measured in Ah(amp hr) for big batteries like car battery or mAh (milli Amp hr) for smaller capacities like cellphone batteries. Now, if u have a 6000mAh power bank & ur fone battery is 1500mAh, ideally u can fetch from ur power bank four times before it's completely drained. But no machine is 100% efficient so a tiny winy amount of power must have been lost from d long storage, charging process, etc, hence u probably won't get a 100%/full charge in d fourth charging.
I think the ish here should rather be if u're buying a good storage tank like GP tank ( i.e a good & reliable power bank) & the size should depend on ur usage capacity with respect to ur cellphone battery capacity.
