Hello everyone, greetings!

Please, my younger brother wishes to study Mechanical Engineering in the University. But in WAEC, he didn't write Biology or Agriculture even in NECO. Now, he has gone to FUTO and FUTO requires a credit in Biology for Mechanical Engineering.

He has also checked MOUAU (Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture, Umudike) and they require a credit in Biology or Agriculture. Now he's stranded and doesn't know what to do.

My question is:

Which University doesn't require any of these two subjects before they can give admission?

lol it seems u doesn't know much about direct entry. They don't write jamb for direct entry. Is met for those that already possessed one certificate being a BSC or ND so all u need do is go buy jamb Direct entry fill ur info and submit in jamb site then go to jamb offce to submit ur credentials while u wait for the school u filled to set exam for u thats all

but must ur Bsc or ND course certificate have to b dsame with course u r going for through dis direct entry.?or can dey be off diffrent faculty?

Last clearance there were two different slots for uploading affidavit(one for Goodconduct and the other for Non-membership of secreat cult)...more reason why it has to be done seperately..

yes dats true.but some people made me believe dat i culd us dis my single document. On both of those two diffrent slot.dereby servin as both.but iwasnt sure.

Your Bsc or ND course must not neccessarily be the same but it should be related. E.g My ND course was Biomedical Engineering Technology. That possibly means that it can be used for a Direct entry into any Engineering course because we did related Engineering courses/topics like: EEC115 Electrical Engineering science ; concept of electric current flow, simple Dc circuit, description of basic DC circuit, solving problems, MTH112 Calculus, EEC139 electrical Circuit Theory 1 & 2: Mesh Analysis, Kirchoff Voltage Law, Nodal Analysis etc.

In all, your Bsc or ND must be a related course. It doesn't actually have to be the same course. For example all life science courses like microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Botany, zoology could be used to put in for a Direct entry in Medicine or any other Medical course. Those in Art or management science could use any of their possessed Bsc or ND cert to put in for any course in art and mangement science so long as it is related. You can't use a a Bsc in Banking and finance to put in for a direct entry in Engineering. Meaning you can't cross from your related faculty to another faculty that is not related to your Bsc or ND cert. Hope this is clear?

He doesn't neccessarily require Biology for Engineering course. As long as he had Credit in English ,Maths, Chemistry and Physics and maybe credit in any other subject he is good to go. Biology is only neccessary for those going for Medical courses

Not at all you won't face any problem as long as ur first name and surname is the same in all your documents. Your third name is just your middle name. That doesn't change anytthing

any state University or federal university. Don't follow what that brochure says as long as he had Math , English , Chemistry and Physics he has no problem.

this pharm. dude ehhhmmmmm,,,, provisional (adjective) of the admission. okay what will you say about; I was given a provisional livery to encouraged my proclivity to join the army. don't you think even if I earned(according to chizzy94) medicine & surgery the admission is still provisional. the use of provisional in admission is because no admission is offered on permanent term, meaning if I don't accept the offer within a prescribe date I won't have any opportunity of accepting it except I request for another. provisional here simply means temporary. and however what difference can you draw between offer(verb) and give(verb) other than proposal, when offer is used as a noun. so when something is given to you you don't make choice, isn't it? somehow, offer could even be used for something you didn't requested for, but didn't I requested for admission and was given. me ma fearing sensitivity o even in pidgin.

What is the post utme exam nature?: how many questions? CBT or PPT? General knowledge included? Subject combo for computer science?. And finally, if you were admitted for computer science pls reply or quote me.

not smoothly, clearance stress may catch up with you seriously.

no o' level calculation is included, read well and score 200+ cut off is 200, and get a good score above 50 in putme, 60-70 would be better. your jamb score will form 50% of your aggregate and putme score will form the remaining 50% giving a total of 100%. that is utme will be divided by 8 and putme by 2. CBT is the only jamb exam form present from 2015. indigenes are favoured along with few ELDS and other States around Edo state metropolis.

There will be a problem if ur name was mispelt o during clearance o. But don't bother for now cuz is not gonna be easy to rectify it. Clearance officers do pay attention to mispelt names some have faced issues like that. Lets see how it will go during d clearance. Do not bother for now. U just need to explain to the clearance officers that the fault was Not from u
