Pls, let's share our ideas together

Feeding
I know d cost of maintenance(feeding) is not hard cos its readily available.u can easily cut grasses or buy dried shaft( d waste dat is blown away during seiving of maize or gero).u can easily gather dem or tell pple wu does dat 2b saving it 4u...its very cheap n readily available...

Environment
D basic fin is 2get a space, like quarter of a plot depending of d numbers ur planning on breeding...rams r like humans, dey also nid space. So assumin u r planning on startin wid let's say 10, quarter of a plot is owk or half incase u will still xpand.

Duration
All tins bieng equal, if rams r fully feed wit gud food and anof water, u can gefully grown ram btw 4-6months

Cost
A fully grown ram cost btw 80- 120k during ileye period. So imagine u hv like 10of dem....assummin u sell urs 4 80k, do d maths, u'll knw wat am talkin abt

I helped sum1 do dis business along time agao so some of d tinz I wrote may hv changed or advanced...please, I nid hands on deck let's mk dis work...any info u hv abt it will so helpful...thnk u

Sounds like a cool business. But could you please highlight the risks involved?

Well, I don't really no more abt d risk but wat I knw is that ram hardly get sick(that's even if dey do). They are not like chicken or catfish dat u must be studying them everyday 2notice if there's any change in them...

Just feed them well with good food n clean water and make sure dere environment is clean n watch out for soldier ants(dos ants makes dem run around).

That's all I know. that was d rison why I opened d thread so we can make research and share our experiences for those that have done it before

Now lets talk about the breeds. The two most popular ones I'm familiar with are the Northern ones and South-Western breeds or ''kuuru''. In terms of size, the Northern breeds are bigger but the South-Western breeds are stronger, can survive under most climatic conditions and are less susceptible to diseases. Now the question is, do these Northern breeds eat fresh green grass, yam and cassava peels, waste products of grinded corn used to make pap?
