Was busy over the weekend .hope we all rested.

The pocket is very simple to make.
I simply cut a fabric about 7 inch wide.lenght was 6 inches.i neat the edge that would show on top of the pocket with 1 inch. Now after joining the front and back yellow in the middle, I spread open the side seam and place the pocket on the front side ensuring that it stays in the meddle of the side seam.lastly I place the white Under the yellow also to hold fast the bottom of the pocket.

Most sewing machines work the same according to their functions.

1)we have the straight sewing ones .can be black manual or white head electrical.
2) the over lockers and (weeping machines)
3) Decorative stitch types also known as embroidery machines.

so I wouldn't say there is a best one . people might likely say so so so is the best but that might just be because that's the only one he/she is using.
What ever the sewing machine u eventually get just ensure you regularly service it also do not panic when u see its not sewing well . sometimes it's just a simple setting issue that's the problem

Hello house, I saw dis thread few days ago. I must commend efosa for d great work. God will bless the works of ur hands. I got my machine and sincerely I don't know where to start from bt am trying to roll d machine now. I don't even know how to put thread. Pls can I still learn and go along with d class?

Sweetset so sorry you having that issue now.dont worry the process will get better soon. Me while check these places on your sewing machines if it's too tight this might make the thread cut.

The process of taking the sleeve measurements simply entails
1- Taking the desired length (from the shoulder down be it short, half length, 3 quater or long length) and the desire
2- Taking the desired circumference ( round the arm or the rist)

Now some find it difficult to measure a persons arm hole because of the smell and sweat ...... well me too, in fact I never put my tape rule there. despite that it's important to take the accurate measurement there as this would affect how u cut your sleeve at the end of the day.

What I do is I take the circumference of the upper bust and on that same line i take the upper bust by length ( from shoulder to the top part of the bust)

This simple process helps u for a square which you can link as arm hole.now from that upper bust line just add half inch down or 1 inch to get the right arm hole measurements for the person

How about taking d measurement from shoulder to nipple den minus two inches to get d armhole?

Hummmm never heard that before but am curious
To learn how that would work.lets use my bust measurement.
My bust is 42.
42÷4 =10.5
Close but not exactly what I use.i mostly use 9 inches for my armhole.

For me I respect other people's methods and ideology when it comes to being creative on this job. so if you have tried it and it works for u fantastic. but if you think it's not working for you and u would like to adopt a new please feel free.
