My aim of posting this topic is to draw Sir.Seun's attention so that me2u can make wave in the social media market. I started developing me2u since 3rd january 2013 and i realeased it on 12th october 2013 but i took it back because of some complaints i got frm my users. Now me2u is back and better. You could use htmlspecialchars_decode or html_entity_decode to clear the slashes on output

When you praise them, and as well point out flaws and errors, they'l work on it "happily" with so much zeal to make it better.

i want all notifications to be sent directly to users message inbox via the phone number they registered with. Notifications such as birthday of friends, reminders and other activities. I thought that this method wil be more lively since some persons dont visit dia email frm time to time@pythonian

some Features Of me2u....***Me2u engine allows u to share files with friends***, ***me2u has one-one private messaging or chating system lyk dat of 2go***, ***Me2u alows u to create a group in which u can invite your friends to and discus certain topics***, ***me2u has rooms, every user has d previllage of adding up anoda user frm a room**, **me2u has a blog-like system which i named feeder. Me2u feeder allows u to create a topic and u can keep posting abt the topic u created. E.g u can create a feeder named 'news' and and keep posting news in it thereby feeding ur friends wit daily news, ur friends are also allowed to follow ur news***, **update of status and profile pictures**, **use of emojis/smiley in chatrooms and private chats**. Etc. Lets work hard to add more features

But you should have made it an option because there would be people (like me) who'd be uncomfortable in providing their phone numbers. Besides, i didn't provide my number to sites like FB, TWT who wanted to forward my alerts to me via SMS because it's a disturbance.
So Sir, provide options/ alternatives to your users. Don't force them!!! Nothing also stops me from providing a FAKE phone number.
