SEX AND STROKE Can too much sex cause stroke? Stroke occurs when the brain is deprived of oxygen or lack of oxygen to the brain due to blockage(blood clot) in the brain vessels.This may lead to 'Aneurysm'.Aneurysm is an abnormal ballooning/Widening of an artery/vessel.This in-built pressure may burst the Aneurysm leading to stroke.The answer to this question is 'YES',Sex can lead to stroke but only under some conditions. [b]NOTE--[/b]Sex alone cannot cause stroke unless the person has one of these risk factors. RISK FACTORS ----------------- *High blood pressure *Chain Smoker *Over consumption of alcohol or coffee. *Heart disease *Abuse of birth control pills(in women) *Old age(45-Above in men) 'These above factors may increase the risk of blood clot formation'.Hence,if a person engages in too much sex and also has at least one of the risk factors,then stroke may occur.During sex,the brain releases hormones DOPAMIN(in men) and OXYTOCIN(in women)and Endorphins leading to increase in blood pressure which may push blood clots tothe brain.This can lead tostroke.However,if your health is good enough,then sex will rather benefit your health.Remember too much of everything is bad.
