i was at the admission office on monday and the not so responsive staff there said that they've not even started compiling the list and it won't be out until 3 weeks time, i didnt take him seriously but now that the list is not out at the expected time, it seems he was serious,

Aladelokun: To everyone, please i want to ask if may be University of Ibadan still count point(40 for jamb and 60 for O-level) to gain admission to pursue Mbbs because i could remember in 2011, certain points were criteria for invitation to write post jamb. Dat method is obsolette now! What they did dis year was to invite every candidate dat scored above 200 in UTME to come write d P.UTME, and used d score in P.UTME for admission. As long as u score 200 above in jamb, with ur complete O'level, u'l be invited for d post jamb test/exam!

So UI wld ignore candidates dat scored closer to their respective cut-off, and prioritise the admission of candidates whose parents are staff of the sch? I doubt UI wld be so stupid to do dat, after much clamouring for transparency and merit-based admission.

Well, I don't work in admission office, but I cn guess the reason why there's a delay is because of d C.O.C sorting. They are likely sorting candidates who did d C.O.C to various vacant courses and as well taking time to check their subject combination. Dat's time consuming u knw! Even unilag dat released their merit list earlier dan UI did are yet to release their 2nd batch!

Well, all wat u guys need is patience! Since Jamb already gave directive dat all admission shld be concluded b4 d end of october, certainly d 2nd batch wld be out anytime sooner!

I'l liken rematriculation(matriculating twice) to shop lifting. If u do it without being noticed, u'l get away with it.

Dont depend on the school Wifi..Especially in the halls of residence,BUT there is wifi in all Halls tho not fast,just too slow excludin Mellanby and Tedeer!!However,there is a news goin around that the school might add a token to the fees in order to make Wifi more accessible!!!
And in some Faculties,the Wifi is blazin fast E.G Arts,Social Sciences,Law etc
