Some of us seem to have lost our conscience as a people. Some people will support evil in the name of defending Goodluck Jonathan!

Poverty profile of Nigeria is above 70% in the midst of opulence, reckless spending and high tolerance to corruption/ oil theft. It is indeed ridiculous for a nation with such paradoxical statistics on wealth and poverty to engage in open display of waste.

Most Igbo hate truth and will praise evil and denounce good! The level of moral decadence in Igboland has assumed frightening dimensions. Little wonder Igboland is so unproductive and everyone is running away. The bible says "righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach". And that "when a people turn from their sins and call unto God, he will heal their land". Igboland is cursed today with rampant kidnapping, crime, underdevelopment, capital flight, lack of jobs, rampaging erosion etc because our people see black and call it white! There is high level of wickedness(both spiritual and physical) in Igboland and until we start saying the truth, more and more people will continue to flee to Hausa and Yoruba lands thereby putting ourselves at the mercy of others.


There are those of us who would not join the bandwagon in support evil. Moments and men of history have proved time and again that a few could be right while the rest are wrong. The story of Galileo Galilei, Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison etc is instructive in this regard. Even the Bible recognises the challenge posed by the bandwagon effect on moral conscience and went on to declare thus:

"Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil..." (Exodus 23:2)

May God bless U̶̲̥̅̊. It's such a shame when some pple decide to colour every issue with tribalism. Its very sad that the Igbos led by GEJ turned against the tribe that stood and fought for him in 2009 when his right was being trampled on by the Northern elites. In 2011 SW passionately and massively voted for Jonathan to the extent that we were even ready to die for him. We had so much faith in him because we thought he was going to turn around the fortunes of this country and the people. But what did we get in return; Ethnic bashing, segregation and hate. If that was only it we could hv atleast coped with it but the worst of it all has been the retrogressive down-turn/stagnation of the economy and extreme executive impunity and corruption exhibited by Jonathan's Govt, Govt. Officials, Govt. Agencies, PDP and his general supporters. Its just unfair that Yorubas will be so insulted; like GEJ and the Igbos have been doing of recent. The peak of it was Anambra election when Peter Obi was bashing other regions as if he'll forever remain in Anambra without venturing into other regions and GEJ stood their without cautioning him of the dire consequences of his utterances which is capable of ruining his 2nd term ambition. This is a man who after his tenure will either reside permanently in Lagos or Abuja. I swear I won't pity him if all his properties in Lagos/SW are confiscated since he has decided to choose the war path. I pity GEJ because those who are advising him are actually his worst enemies. They will definitely abandon him when he's down. Gradually GEJ is losing power. He has lost the NASS, he's about to lose the Senate and he has also lost vital supporters who would have protected him against the storm. GEJ decided to sacrifice his power in 5 states because of one man(Tukur), he sacrifice his ambition because of pple who are of no electoral value to him(Oduah, Oteh) and ultimately he sacrificed votes from a whole region because of the unguarded utterances of some pple(Peter Obi, Abati, Okupe, Akpabio). GEJ is just an unwise politician; how can you lose people like Tinubu who though he's not in your party can pull support for you in SW, U̶̲̥̅̊ lost Amaechi a dogged fighter, U̶̲̥̅̊ lost Kwankwaso who's influence in the North esp. Kano cannot be underestimated. U̶̲̥̅̊ started fraternising yourself with people who have no electoral influence in their region(Fasheun, Al-mustapha, Afenifere(Ondo State Old Peoples' Association-Mimiko)). You removed a respected, honest and impeccable Judge of the Appeal court(Justice Ayo Salami) in a gifi just because he refused to support your party. While a minister who has been accused and convicted of corruption(Oduah) is steal in seat under your watchful eyes just because she's from your region. God help us. Jonathan you're doomed for defeat!!! Better change your ways and "Do the needful" before it's too late!!!
