adeniyie140: so what's d difference BTW SLT n mlsBasically, SLT is a kinda all rounda course in the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences. They are humourously known as the Doctors of the Faculty of Science. They touch everything ranging from courses in Elect/Elect, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physics, Physiology, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and so much more. They work sometimes in hospitals, but mostly in Pharmaceutical Industries, Light Chemical Industries(Companies that produce reagents like Fehlings Solution, H2S04, Bleaches and the Likes), Brewries etc ************************************ But MLS, Medical Laboratory Science is a more specific kind of course. They are the ones who conduct tests(blood test, phlegm test,stool test, widal test etc) in Hospital Laboratories(Doctor's Physician) and give results to the Doctor, which helps him have a clearer view of what he is dealing with. It is a Course in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. They study anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Physics, Pathology etc. ****** Hope that was ok @adeniyie140 |

U guys sud chk jamb site now ... Lautech don upload another list oooo.. Av bn chking for my younger sister since dey 1st relis dia 1st list bt no admission given yet .. Now today just now I chk for she has bn admitted to study PHYSIOLOGY... Hallelujah.. Atlast!! Wiich u all well toooo |

whales2020:Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and its Ironies...My friend who put in for MLS and had PD score of 345, Jamb score of 220 and post-utme score of 62% was given Biology....Does that correlate? |

Had 217 in utme and 66% in post utme put in for nursing buh was given science lab tech..hmmm..Lautech...well still thankful to God anyway |
