This info is for those interested in the Openview decoder. There are two decoders currently on sale, one is supplied Ellies (PTY) Ltd and the other is from Space TV. The elies decoder is like DSTV and doesn't accept other FTA channels, but the Space TV decoder can be used to receive other FTA channels.

Imagine receiving 4E, 7E, 16E, 17E, 28E, and 68.5E for free. wink

@All
For the Open view decoder HD I think the best thing for us to is get one reliable fellow, who will coordinate the purchases negotiate for the registration and bring them down to Nigeria..
In case you guys don't know this will be the next best thing to happen to us in this FTA community.
I was opportuned to view the channels when they were free for a while and I bet you it was an experience to behold..talk of quality programming and sound production.

It must equally be the space TV version of the decoder for other FTA stuff grin grin...this way we can have it all.
I do wish all of us a happy viewing experience.
Viva FTA.

naa even the cost price when converted from rand is more than 15k. Activating it is the main challenge really cos its not so popular in SA. If one can easily activate it then bringing it down wont be a problem really..
