No, its not useful for FTA. However I want to clear the air on this FTA issue. I believe most of us have more than 1Recievers that is compatible with FTA. Y then do we need OVHD to do FTA? There is really no need, simply connect your OVHD to TV via HDMI1 and another FTA boxes to HDMI2 as the case may be. Run SES5 signal cable directly to OVHD while u can Disec upto 8 FTA sattelite and run the cable to your FTA Reciever, be it STRONG, TLINK, AZPLAY, QSAT, STARSAT, OPENBOX ETC. Leave both boxes powered on. Enjoy both boxes by just switching BTW both with your TV remote by switching from HDMI1 to 2. Hope this solves the FTA puzzle.
