1. I know about the Arewas. they possibly have the biggest landmass

2. I know the Oduduwas. they have the seaports and maybe the biggest markets

3. Then the Biafrans.

4. Now the Ijaws Nation, as Asari calls it.

How about the Itsekiris and the Ikweres? do they also have their ow nation?

Why are some people pissing in their pants when they hear about dismantling the country?

Many countries have been dismantled before and heavens did not fall.

Artificial disunited countries of tribalists and bigots eventually fail. It's the logical end. No remedy.

It's only a matter of how. Peacefully like Czechoslovakia or violently like Yugoslavia.

Many permutations:

Arewa

Oodua (Surprise me the most. Would be better as an independent country with Yoruba as national language).

Nri or Biafra

Middle Belt or Benjos

Niger Delta or three smaller countries (Bendel, Ijaw Nation and Niger Delta).

Five very viable countries.

Nation may refer to a large group of people who share a common language, culture, ethnicity, descent, or history. Nation can refer to “a people, race, or tribe; those having the same descent, language, and history.” Webster’s New Encyclopedic Dictionary defines nation as “a community of people composed of one or more nationalities with its own territory and government” and also as “a tribe or federation of tribes (as of American Indians)”. Nation carries varying meanings, and the connotation of the term has changed over time.

An ethnic community, or ethnie, shares a common myth of origins and descent, a common history, elements of distinctive culture, a common territorial association, and sense of group solidarity. A nation is much more impersonal, abstract, and overtly political than an ethnic group. It is a cultural-political community that has become conscious of its coherence, unity, and particular interests.

Based on the above you can say Nigeria is just a nation or

As the second definition puts it, Nigeria has as many nations as the tribes are in the country and mind you my beloved Ijaw nation is not as Asari Puts it but its a nation...

Thank you. Continues watching cbeebies.
